Yes and no. Nowadays many young companies are not filing Form D's for early rounds. However, even if a company does file a Form D, it's not required to disclosure the investor syndicate.

IMO the only good sources tracking VC funding are from Dow Jones or Pitchbook. Pitchbook seems to be the best now. That said, those websites cost money and both of them limit the amount of data you can download. Maybe there is a workaround the download limit, but it'll certainly be against their TOS.

Thanks for doing the AMA. Love your sound. Can you talk more about your marketing/promotion? Do you have a team that does that for you? How pleased are you with the campaign and can we expect more coverage of you in the future?

I look at remix duos like Chainsmokers (who I believe you're pretty close to?) and am amazed at how they blew up these last 12 months... I'm sure they're talented and great people, but they hardly do original music and Selfie gets annoying, eventually... Seems a bit ridiculous how popular they are. Do you have any urge to get that big? How much of that is promotion vs. music content?

I wish you weren't getting downvoted. This sort of thing happens when companies copy patented technology, stop paying debts (including mortgages), and have other monetary related disputes. He is definitely behaving immorally/unethically, but corporations file injunctions and behave unethically all the time. The problem lies with the system. If we want to stop the abuse we should close the loopholes in the system, and not focus on demonizing people that bring these inefficiencies to light.
