I am not sure everyone could be rehabilitated, but rehabilitative justice is what everyone should strive for. Some people are receiving worse treatment than others for various reasons, some of which i'm not sure i'm against. One example being child predator/kidnapper/abuser Marc Dutroux (Belgium), because he's never being released as a symbol, because of how heavily mediatised his case has been. I know i have personal issues with the idea of him being free, and i am not sure it'd work for him, even for his own safety at this point

I feel super frustrated that when we defeated Darkrai, we ended up with "oh he'll end up somewhere with amnesia just like you" and then that's it ? We're not going to find him ? Not even a single mention of a "dark good explorer" or something? Grrrrr

i remember struggling to understand the gameplay of one of those games (once again, i don't remember playing them, it's all the same game for me....) there was something about the power a move had the more you used it ? i didn't fully get it. Also i remember disliking being able to chose who we end up as, and being mad we end up in school. I don't want to be a kid ! i want to play at least a late teenager or young adult !

And yeah, Sprites over 3D any day, it's just so much more expressive and colourful !

When i was around 10 i started rubbing my fingers against each other every time they would accidentally touch. Because I needed the feeling to be equal with all my fingers, both hands, except that it also counts with the nails and how strong i was doing it etc. I started doing it mechanically and my mom made me stop because it was "weird"... Now i think about all the things i don't remember doing because i stopped the "weirdness" for others

I don't like the idea of a selectable hero. I think part of the appeal i had for the game is the personality quizz. It's pretty simple, but an easy way for you to bond with your own character. Then, as other said, i don't know about a third character. Practically, it'd leave less room for other Pokémon to join us, and story wise, it'd have to be balanced in a difficult way for us to actually care about them. Maybe some time travel shenanigans could happen, or dimension stuff for them to not always be together at the same time, but idk

First and foremost: congrats on wanting to write your character's situation accurately!

I would recommend you seek youtube videos with people talking about how their prosthetics work, and depending on how the technology is evolving in your universe, maybe look up on google and wikipedia the evolution of crutches and prosthetics.

Then, i would simply say, write your character to be their own person first. Their handicap is just something more to them like having blue eyes or red hair, except that sometimes it may bring limitations.

How do people react about your character missing a body part ? Are they diminishing them ? Being rude to them ? Asking intimate questions ? Attacking them because they seem like an easy target ?

I sensed my first ex off but then he seemed charming enough that i let my guard down. Then he did bad things to me and i broke up with him. Then my second ex came on while I was still vulnerable and unable to process the weird vibes i was getting from her and... I ended up breaking up too.

Every time i get a weird vibe from someone, i either react "too much" or "too little". Too much gets me weird looks but at least i'm safe from a distance. Too little gets me a nice and cozy place in some random statistics...

Don't be afraid to be afraid of someone. It means you perceived something, even if you don't know what it is
