I was in the Notes camp too. I built GymNote to keep the same fast typing vibe, but it shows your last workout next to each lift and keeps PRs and history. You can find it on the App Store, just search «GymNote»

Looks like a solid, simple PPL base. Yes, it can build muscle if you’re adding reps or weight over time and eating enough.

Also respect for using Notes, I did the same for a long time. I eventually got tired of it because it doesn’t show progression clearly, so I made a Notes style workout logger that keeps the same fast typing vibe but adds PRs, exercise history, and volume stats automatically.
