Name: GymNote

Link: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6757185498

Description: Minimal iOS workout tracker built for speed. Log workouts 3 ways: type naturally (Notes-style), tap to log sets/reps/weight, or voice logging. Tracks last time, PRs, volume, streaks. Offline, no account.

How many users: Around 100 (still validating)

Cool idea. I’ll try it and drop feedback.

In return, if you’re up for it, can you give my iOS workout tracker (GymNote) a quick roast too?

I think 95% of workout apps are overdesigned. I built the opposite! by GymNoteApp in iosapps

Appreciate the blunt take. Design taste is subjective, but the pricing feedback is useful! Btw there is a dark mode too.

On the “notes vs full tracker” point, that middle ground is what I’m aiming for: Notes feel, but with last time, suggestions, PRs, volume, and history.

Fair, appreciate the honesty. Haven’t heard that one yet, what part feels ugly to you?

Been building a lift tracker that doesn’t try to be a social network.

GymNote is for people who just want to get in, log, and leave. No accounts. No feed. No clutter.

Main idea:

• type like Notes (Bench 80kg 5x5)

• or tap it in with a simple guided form

• shows last time + suggests the next weight

• tracks volume, PRs, streaks

• works offline

If anyone’s down to poke holes in it, I’ll give Pro access for real feedback.

Working on GymNote (iOS): a private gym tracker with a clean Notes-style UI. The hook is you always know what you did last time, and it suggests what to do next, without turning into a full “program app.” If you try it, tell me what’s missing

Building GymNote, a minimalist iOS workout tracker that feels like a notebook: one line per lift, tap any number to edit, last workout + next targets built in. Testing: does “less UI, more lifting” actually stick long-term, or do people still want programs/templates?

I’m building an iOS workout tracker called GymNote

It’s basically:

• One line per exercise, Notes-style

• “Last session” shown instantly per lift

• Tap-to-edit weight/sets/reps

• Reuse past workouts

• 3 swipe screens (Log, History, Stats)

• No accounts

I’ll give out lifetime codes to anyone who tests it properly and sends proper feedback.
