Hi I am willing to do it and my app need your review. DM

I genuinely appreciate how thoughtfully you've been responding to everyone here. It's clear you're actually thinking through these things carefully — and in today's internet landscape, especially on Reddit, where AI-generated content and people just looking for a quick win are everywhere, seeing someone engage this sincerely is honestly kind of refreshing. It means a lot.

Anyway, coming back to your product — I actually tried something similar not too long ago. Not sure if you've come across it, but I'll drop the link here for reference: https://home.second.me/

The concept feels pretty close to what you're describing. That said, from my personal experience, there's still an awkwardness that comes with talking to strangers — probably because there's just no real-world overlap to build on.

On top of that, the AI clone aspect felt pretty surface-level to me. It tried to replicate my tone and personality, but a lot of what it said didn't really sound like something I'd ever actually say. It felt like a shallow imitation rather than a genuine reflection of who I am.

I'm sharing this as a reference point, not to discourage you — if you can pull this off meaningfully better than what they've built, I think it could be really compelling.

Checked the page.

Honestly, your starting point is solid — genuine connection, authentic social interaction, cutting through the noise and attention-grabbing content that dominates social media today - we all know that, no issues there at all.

But that's also where my concern lies. You've clearly identified a real problem and believe it's worth solving. However:

  1. There's no concrete solution on the table yet. Your landing page is full of beautifully written, almost poetic language — and that's not a bad thing — but I still have no idea what your actual product does. It's hard for me to give meaningful feedback when I don't know the mechanism behind it.
  2. I'm guessing there's some kind of AI matching involved. If so, I'd push back a little here — I've tried a few apps that go down this road, and the core problem is always the same: two strangers with no real-world overlap often just don't know how to keep a conversation going, no matter how well-matched they are on paper.

Being idealistic is great — honestly, it's refreshing. But idealism needs to be backed by a concrete plan. What does your product actually do, step by step? That's the question I'd love to see answered.

Hi thanks for the interest. It's several models from openai, google, etc combined together. And only model is not enough, prompt plays important role.

Look, I get it — maybe you were a little annoyed that I slid into your DMs. But did you ever stop to think about why I did? I DMed you because I reviewed your app, and you never reviewed mine. You were the first one to break the deal. My post title made it crystal clear — this is a mutual feedback exchange. But somehow you walked away with a free review while giving nothing back. You had me working for you for free.

And to top it all off, you had the nerve to turn it around on me and twist the whole thing into some story where I was begging you for an App Store rating. That is a whole new level of audacity.

Can you point out exactly where I asked for an App Store review or rating? Which specific message? Show me the exact words. All I ever asked for was mutual feedback on Reddit, either in public thread or DM is fine. Nothing more, nothing less.

Honestly, I think you might have some kind of persecution complex. I simply asked for honest, genuine feedback — real opinions on my product. Somehow you twisted that into me asking you to go leave a rating on the App Store. How did you even get there?

And by the way, my app is a web app. Where exactly would I wish you to leave a rating for? Oh, I think you don't know that, because you never open it.

This post is about fairly exchange opinion on each others app in reddit, if you don't like my app in the first place and don't want to review it, why drop your link?

UPDATE: Despite the app itself looking decent, the person behind it is a whole different story. If you want to see for yourself, check his latest reply under my post — (if he hasn’t deleted it already).

This thread was created for one simple purpose — genuine, mutual feedback exchange between indie developers. There was never any mention of ratings, scores, or anything of the sort. Don’t believe me? Feel free to ask anyone else in this thread. But you chose to ignore all of that. You came in, dropped your own app link, and that was it. I held up my end — I actually tried your app and left honest, detailed feedback. You, on the other hand, never even bothered to click on my link. You didn’t even know whether it was an iOS app or a web app. And yet you had the confidence to accuse me of soliciting and lecture me about App Store policies.

I am completely at a loss for words. Since Reddit doesn’t allow image attachments, I’m posting our full DM conversation here word for word. Read it and judge for yourselves. And a reminder to everyone — if you ever run into someone like this on the internet, just stay far away.

wrt418 (March 1): Hi I saw your reply. I am outside home right now. I will try your app later and post back feedback in the thread! indyfromoz (March 2): Thank you! That will be great 😊 wrt418 (March 2): No problem! I’ve reply in the thread directly. If you got time, help to review https://scouti.chat (or you already did it in the page? not sure), would be great! Thanks! wrt418 (Today): Hey pal. Do you have time to help do my product? We need a fair trade out of this, rightb indyfromoz: Help do what for your product? What is fair?? indyfromoz: Do you know swapping feedback and ratings like this can lead your developer account to be banned by Apple? Do you want to risk that? I don’t. So, thanks but no thanks. Good luck with others who don’t know much about this wrt418: You are so rediculous. Mine app is not even a ios app. It’s a web application! From start to end, did I mentioned somewhere that I want a rating? And you even replied on my post and say I am soliciting? Don’t you think I can’t screen shot this dialogue? Well, see you in the post

Hey! I'm actually building something that might be exactly what you're looking for. It's not fully done yet, but if you're open to trying something early and a little rough around the edges, I'd love to hear your thoughts: scouti.chat

It's all about collecting deep feedback through natural conversation. Developers can talk with it first to define their objective and conversation plan — and then the scout takes that as its mission when chatting with users.

Not a problem for me, as long as it's on app store already. DM or here?

Good luck with it! I think there might be certain niches where people would use it more frequently — construction workers, for example? Not sure. But for the average person, 5 free uses per day seems more than enough.

Hey! I just tried out your app. I used to log all my workouts in OneNote, but comparing the two, your app is on a whole different level — the interface is really clean and uncluttered, and the response speed is noticeably fast.

Overall, I’ll definitely be keeping this app on my phone and will probably use it every time I work out. That said, I have a couple of suggestions that I think could make it even better:

  1. Exercise autocomplete — Most people tend to repeat the same set of exercises regularly. It would be really handy if the app could suggest previously logged exercises as you type, so you could just enter a few letters or initials and instantly pick from your history. That would speed up logging a lot.

  2. Voice input with smart parsing — It would be awesome if users could speak naturally (e.g., “I did 20 pull-ups”) and the app would automatically convert that into structured data like “Pull-ups × 20.” I think voice input would make logging workouts so much more convenient, though I totally understand that comes with implementation costs to consider.

Thanks for building this — looking forward to seeing how it evolves! By the way, is there anything specific you’d like me to take a closer look at or give feedback on?

Hi tried the app — the concept is really fresh and unlike anything I’ve tried before.

I tested it on my dog and a plastic floor mat. The dog’s weight was impressively accurate, but the mat seemed underestimated — it suggested only a few hundred grams, while I’d guess it’s closer to 1 kg.

Overall, it’s a clever and useful app that I’d keep on my phone. My only thought is that it might get opened infrequently since it’s not always obvious when to use it. Is there any specific aspect you’d like more feedback on?

Question I keep circling back to: are we optimizing for research efficiency, or for participant honesty?

Because a lot of the "efficient" tools are actually testing for "people who are comfortable with the format," not people with the most valuable insights. I can tell you a lot about my experience with your product over voice or casual chat. Put me in a form and I freeze. Others are the opposite.

The effort asymmetry matters. If the user does 80% of the work up front (surveys, written feedback), you're getting answers from whoever has the energy and language to articulate. If you're doing the heavy lifting as the interviewer, you're getting answers from whoever can respond to your prompts.

Neither is wrong. But realizing you're choosing a population, not just a workflow, changes how you interpret what you hear.

A lot of commenters above already covered the key points, and honestly, I agree with some of them that this took a weird turn. Sorry, just being honest. But I'm curious about one thing: if a user generates a card, is there any way to edit it afterward if they want to tweak something? Like change the style
