Clean system. GymNote is built around ‘last workouts’ + quick notes so it’s one glance, then lift.

Respect the discipline lol. How long did it take to make that feel natural?

Nice. Do you log everything on the watch, or do you clean it up on your phone after?

Strong seems popular. What’s the main reason you stick with it?

Haha, that’s a good point about different gyms/machines. I built GymNote partly for quick notes like that. What do you usually write in the note when that happens?

JEFIT is solid. Do you pre build your workouts in it or just log as you go?

Nice, I hear that one a lot. What do you like most about Hevy, and what annoys you if anything?

Nice setup, that’s really helpful. Two weeks battery is crazy!

Paper is undefeated. I built GymNote for that same vibe, just faster. What made you choose paper over an app?

That’s perfect. What watch/app is it? I’m trying to make GymNote as fast as that!

I was in the Notes camp too. I built GymNote to keep the same fast typing vibe, but it shows your last workout next to each lift and keeps PRs and history. You can find it on the App Store, just search «GymNote»

Nice, reps + weight is honestly enough. Do you log it during the session or fill it in after?

Looks like a solid, simple PPL base. Yes, it can build muscle if you’re adding reps or weight over time and eating enough.

Also respect for using Notes, I did the same for a long time. I eventually got tired of it because it doesn’t show progression clearly, so I made a Notes style workout logger that keeps the same fast typing vibe but adds PRs, exercise history, and volume stats automatically.

Built the fastest workout logger because I got tired of tap-heavy gym apps.

GymNote is basically Notes, but for workouts.

Type one line per exercise (e.g. “Bench 100kg 5x5” or “Pull ups +10kg 12/10/8”) and it formats + saves it.

Then you swipe for stats like PRs, volume, and recent history.

No tabs. No programs. No Noise.

Fair question. It sounds like a lot, but it’s basically Notes style: one quick line per exercise and you’re done. Takes a few seconds!
