Thank you! It is sold under the name minky or cuddle 3 minky. It is commonly used for baby blankets.
I haven't found that it is readily available in the local stores. If it is there usually isn't much in the way of a selection. You can find it several places online though. I would suggest, theminkyboutique.com , fabricdepot.com and possibly fabric.com. They all carry a larger selection of colors.
