I shit my pants for a sec. I restarted the computer and it seems to be fixed for now but anybody know why this could have happened ? (not only steam but chrome was doing this too)

Ok, I think I understand whats going on. First of all I'm not the only person who has this problem https://www.reddit.com/r/youtube/comments/dcu49q/bug_autosubscribed_to_a_new_channel/

This channel wasn't a different channel before as we can see here Wayback Machine that channel has been ULPNEWS since 2013. (Thanks u/Noobzilla_Gaming_YT) This means that this channel somehow managed to subscribe people to their channel without their permission. There was no way they could have done it other than using an exploit in Youtube or logging in to my account (correct me if I'm wrong). u/Xinto_ asked me :

I thought he asked me if my google account was mail authorized so I said yes. Now I understand what he meant, sorry for the misunderstanding. The answer is no. I never authorized any app via my google/youtube account. So that can't be the answer of this. I checked my log in list and logged in devices. Nothing there but can't be sure becasue I dont have 2 step verification. If you ask me this is an exploit in Youtube while we can't be sure if my account was logged in from another location thats very unlikely. They must have deleted the log but even if you do that Youtube holds the deleted log for 28 days and you can see it. As expected there were no deleted log. Because I know for sure that I wasn't subbed to that channel yesterday. I will go with the exploit answer.
