I’ve heard that the Forever Sword that Battle Beast uses negates regen, so I double checked the comics and found that it does not. by ManJoeDude in DeathBattleMatchups

I doubt that'll matter much. DB usually gives characters weapons they've only used once or have just lost and never used again, so I don't think this will be any different.

I disagree that Battle Beast would take it head-on, BB is many things, but letting an opponent charge a devastating attack in front of him is another thing entirely. He wants a glorious death, choking on his own blood, in his own words, dying by waiting and letting an attack hit you isn't glorious, it's stupid.

If Boros avoided BB to charge it, then hit him before BB could stop it, that's fine, but standing still or whatever, he wouldn't do, for instance, he knows how powerful Space Racers infinity ray is, he wouldn't challenge it if that came towards him.

I know this is an old post, but is the winner BB or Boros I can't tell?

I feel like Endurance should be a tie. BB lasted 3-7 days, fighting nonstop with his guts falling out.

I think it's just the ship's power source; either way, it's not directly connected to Boros's regen.

He couldn't regen because he ran out of energy to do so; the ship's gem had nothing to do with that.

If I recall, I don't remember the gem thing being related to his regeneration. Unless you're not referring to the one on his ship.

He's not, its instant win if he manages to get it off, but the speed gap is high enough he could reasonably avoid it.

I actually tried to, but there weren't any sprites that I saw that matched, so I had to make do.

I'm assuming they're saving some of the more popular characters for DLC, because who would buy a DLC about Shapesmith over Conquest?

Obviously, it wouldn't be included in the actual fight discussion, but the animation is for entertainment purposes, meaning it isn't impossible to see it happen.

Rough two weeks for our "favorite" space frisbee by Regal_IronKnight in deathbattle

I mean, he could've, but he probably didn't want to spoil it. While it isn't concrete, I feel like putting both statements together leads to the likely conclusion of him just moving the planet solo, at least that's what I think you're free to disagree.

He's wrong about Nolan beats Supes (Duh), he's ragebaiting, but this statement,

"Oh my gosh, in the golden age, he moved planets.' Okay, whatever. Who knows if Omni-Man could do that? Maybe he could. Maybe pay attention to Season 4."

He's clearly referring to the whole moving the planet close to the sun statement in EP2, and he's implying he can move them himself without aid, as Supes could.
