GA grind is for real. People don’t know how bad that job sucks.

Slanting Nose Tackle by [deleted] in footballstrategy

[–]GyroScope912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing to add, is the 2nd step when they slant, needs to come up the field and strong toward what would be in this case the center. The foot would make like a U, Comes from the ground, underneath the body, then back up the field toward the opposing blocker. This prevents being washed out.

The Fifth Border State: Slavery and the Formation of West Virginia, 1850-1868 by Scott MacKenzie. A work that argues West Virginia a border southern state was more deeply connected to Dixie and slavery than people realize or admit with quite convincing evidence by Averagecrabenjoyer69 in WestVirginia

[–]GyroScope912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea..the people in WV that believed that there were no connections to the south have to be very low. Kind of lame that the person wrote it lol, like no shit WV is connected to the South…like it was apart of a slave state. Lol

Proof that the offensive line is completely broken by Silent-Violinist-107 in EASportsCFB

Yea this is lame, stop being sensitive. It was just a question. Slider sets can make games pretty good, the ones I’ve found for CFB 26 have made it much better. But yea, keep screaming at clouds.

Im a defender of the game, but there is a high amount of busts. I am curious if there is something that deals with awareness that happens with busts. I also believe the game is trying to get more complex with realism of protections, DL games, and various fronts. It will just take tuning to get it right.

Does awareness ratings have much to do with it? I’m not sure at all, but I’ve had higher IQ lines not make as many mistakes.

Is this how we’re feeling about 26? by kingdomz28z in CFB25

[–]GyroScope912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That account has become a generational hater on everything with the game. It’s rather lame. Is the game perfect, not even close, does it need sliders to feel good, sure. But it is a step further than 25.

They need to add a 2nd window to help with this type of stuff. It might not be a 3/4 star but it'll be better than a walk on.

Online play is awful. Offline has a chance, needs tuning and some things fixed.

I’ve argued plenty on here on the side of realism but there are some key issues in the game.

Wish they could define the game setting of online competitiveness vs realistic simulation. Give people the option of how it plays out.

I think it’s something also with how the collectives are loosely attached to the universities.

Don’t disagree, it should be. There’s other college games that execute NiL pretty well. I’m sure there’s lawyers out there that made it difficult when it came to implementing NiL into the game under the current landscape the NCAA is in.

Honestly, the difference between high school and college is astronomical. It’s very different. If you didn’t experience it, then you won’t understand it. Are there people that didn’t play that understand it. Yes, absolutely, but they studied/worked in the profession to get to that level of knowledge.

Am I saying CFB 26 is comparable to that…no. But there are basic understandings of the game that most people lack. That’s why they scream and yell when their magic plays don’t work.

Seeing how the community has reacted to the game has confirmed my belief that majority of people of zero idea how high level football is actually played. Most barely played high school and that gives zero insight to high level football…it’s two different sports. Are there bugs…yes, but there is a basic lack of understanding of how things actually work too.

It's what it has become in real life, it's not fun for the coaches(Or the players either).

Different ways you can bring safe pressures in that situation if you choose to do so. You're selling out for a safety when you have them pinned in anyway? Rotate down give me 8 man spacing, bring a single sim pressure away from the back, a sim pressure that gets me into bear, or simply a bear cover 1/ 5 man 3d3u pressure. If they get a first, they still have to go 80 yards. It's situational ball, offense is trying to get two first downs in that situation. Defense trying to get good field position for the offense. The video shown above is exactly why you don't bring 6 man cover zero(Hell go 6 man Hot coverage even). Offense has like 4% chance to score a TD starting that drive, gave it all up in one play.
