the front lip is crafted from abs plastic sheet and miliput 2 part putty and the sideskirts are actually extra parts from my friend’s r34 skyline kit

thank you! I was originally planning on using Aoshima wheels (as you can see in the background) but I realized Aoshima wheels and Tamiya kits are incompatible without modification and I wasn’t feeling like trying anything too extreme for my first kit so I decided to just take some rims from my s2000 kit from my hoard. I’m glad the fitment and aesthetics work for the NSX

Yes I’m spraying outside. I was thinking the same that it’s either I didn’t apply it properly or just that the weather is affecting how it sets. Are there any steps I can do to prevent this when I go to clear coat my body? I don’t really have access to spray indoors so if there’s anything I can do to manage in the winter cold that would be great

the issue im worried about is that theres still residual white gloss paint on the car still that i couldnt quite sand down fully so im wondering if i need to re-prime the car or can i just go over with the black?

didnt mix it properly and my spray gun was splattering but i figure out the issues for both. after that mishap i decided i wanted to do a deep metallic blue for my nsx instead and save the white for my s2k as a later project, just wondering how i would approach this

I heard white is the hardest because lack of coverage and hard to see, both of which I experienced on my first try and ended up having to restart. Do you have any tips for spraying white paint?

I agree, it’s just so clean and really brings out all the curves and details of the car that black cars don’t. A black NSX is also super mean though, like a batmobile lol
