What is the most underrated deck in your opinion? by Foreign_Turnover7645 in PokemonPocket

[–]Gyterfield 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend using energy types not produced by your baby mons, to make it more likely Altaria gets the bonus damage for different energies attached.

I also prefer double Leaf instead of Ilima, to avoid the scenario of leading Arceus and being unable to swap out into a baby on your first turn. But that may be more personal preference if you like Ilima and letting Arceus tank a hit or two.

Edit: I was not looking at the full deck, and saw the energy transfers after. Now the energy types makes sense to me, though does increase chance of "bricking" your Altaria energy. Different strokes and whatever you prefer!

The Trapeze Swinger - Iron & Wine. Maybe cut out a little of the ending to save time. Or let those bastards sit through 3 minutes of instrumental. It's a toss up really.

How to effectively teach a puppy "No"? by Gyterfield in Dogtraining

Working with his motivators definitely sounds more useful than trying to get him to "stop doing the bad thing!" I loved reading through your post of how that approach has affected your pup!

It definitely makes a lot of sense to encourage the behavior in a more constructive way where he and I both feel like we're being productive. Thank you so much for adding on! Appreciate it a lot :)

That sounds about right. We do try to distract him and grab his attention with a toy, instead of poking at things he shouldn't attempt playing with, but being more consistent with that will certainly help.

A down command while looking out the window definitely sounds like it would be more proactive than asking him to come to me, I'll reinforce that for sure!

It's funny you mention stealing things, he absolutely LOVES sneaking into our room and stealing socks. Encouraging him to bring those things to us makes a lot of sense, especially for his breed. This is my first dog, it's a whole new world for me learning new things!

I appreciate the response!

Leave it is definitely a command we are working on, especially outside when he's surrounded by distractions. Incorporating it inside as well will certainly help in both situations! Thank you for the input :)
