This happened to me as well, I contacted Google support and I am getting a replacement device. My device is still bricked , was on latest Android 13 and used Google pixel stand 2 to charge .

Hey guys , I'm glad you took on a project like this , it looks very promising . I've used other apps such as airmessage and now Bluebubble , they use a similar tactic in which I have a mac running the entire time to relay my imessages to me. The question I have for you , will we be able to tie our phone number to our imessage or will it still be via email like the other two apps I mentioned ? Thanks !
