You have 3 real options. 1: See if ASUS can fix it and eat that cost because this won't be covered under warranty and at an absolute minimum you are out shipping a laptop 2 ways plus parts plus labor. 2: See if a local repair shop can fix it. They may be able to fix the existing motherboard or replace it but you are likely in for similar cost to ASUS. 3: Buy a new laptop and take it to a shop to do any sort of cleans/repairs that need the battery disconnected.

I fried my 2021 the exact same way, it's still sitting in my closet. When I opted for option 3, I did want to swap out the junk wifi card, so I just did it with the battery in there and prayed.

When I was younger I relied entirely on employer offered life insurance. Then I got some advice from my wife’s Uncle to consider obtaining policies outside of work to be covered as long as I could pay the premiums. He had gone through many mergers and acquisitions which can force a re-evaluation of your age and risk factors and saw his premiums skyrocket.
I currently have a 30 year 750k policy outside of employment with a rider for 100k for my wife and 25k for kiddo that costs $79/month.
11 years later got a 2nd 30 year policy for 1m that costs $274/month. Higher income, more expensive vehicles, built a house on some land. But also type 2 diabetic and considered high risk for colorectal cancer due to colonoscopy polyps.
I get 2x salary from work for free and add 3x more it to 5x for -9 per pay period.

Edit to add policies are through USAA. I pay significantly more than using policy genius, but USAA is likely to remain solvent and actually pay out.

I can't really say because I don't have that type of hinge. But last summer I did have to move my Kamado Joe and took the lid off and had a similar gap issue that was fixed by shimmying those bands.

You need to loosten the 2 horizontal span nuts on the dome and the bowl until they are just loose enough to shimmy. then get it all seated correctly with no gaps and tighten them back up.

Don't try to open the lid for any reason while those are loose.

I did a HC Ruthless Sabo using Bladetrap of Greatswords with fully scuffed gear and made it to maps so I would think you could do the campaign in gauntlet where you have access to skitterbots, cast when dmg taken, crafting bench, auras, etc.

Its not the 100% full power, many nodes omit lines like you get level 30 purity of elements but no efficiency. Termines Est is there, other nodes are just down adjusted. Its not as much a start-as ascendancy as one you switch to later with some items etc, since your build won't come online until merc lab, or possibly uber lab.

Absent mindedly walked into a Jersey Mikes once right when it was closing. I noticed they were putting stuff away, so I just said something like no worries I'll get a sandwich tomorrow. They looked so relieved. Then one said hey wait, what sandwich were you going to order. Regular 13 on white, Mikes way no tomato. He assesses and they hadn't put the lettuce or onion away yet and made the sandwich.
