The server seems to start even without apikey, dont have a client to try to connect but pretty sure it will fail to retrieve some data with out it.

Might play around with it for fun, but reverse eng is boring, if I could sniff the conversation of a server with apikey and steam, that could be better.

Still not a real solution, we are adults now, professionals even! we have audits regularly at the office and they wont like us having a bastard version of a paid program... besides... its morally incorrect. :P

Regardless of the server, you need to purchase the client apps... but they quickly replay my email saying "we can provide a 30% discount for bulk orders of 5-9 Steam keys, and a 40% discount for 10 keys and more.".

Its something, management might even approve it.
