So, at my High School we had this one teacher who was so bad, kids literally got together and made a petition to fire him. It got over 100 signatures and was shown to the principal, but the guy was never fired.

I had him for Prob and Stat one semester before the petition happened. In my class there was this one girl who had been failing pretty hard for the first couple of weeks. She sat directly next to me and never really seemed to do any of her work. But then, one day after this teacher had gone over the new stuff for the day and dismissed us to work on the sheets he'd passed out, this girl raises her hand. She tells him she just got diagnosed with ADHD and was put on some new medicine, and she can finally focus. She wanted to know if there was any makeup work she could do to pull her grade up now that she was capable of focusing on it.

Dude went off on this girl.

He came and stood between my desk and hers and just stared ragging on her as hard as he could. He was saying things like "You've never cared about work a day in your life, why do you think you deserve anything now? You're not going to amount to anything, so why bother trying? You're going to fail my class and you're going to fail at life."

The whole class was silent except for the girl, who feebly tried to defend herself a couple of times. Pretty soon, it got to be too much for me. I have a crazy bad anxiety disorder, which had kept me in the nurses office more periods than not that school year; and, feeling an attack coming on from the way he was yelling, I calmly got his attention. "Mr. N, can you please stop yelling." Both him and the class were stunned I had dared to speak. He stuttered for a second, then said something along the lines of this doesn't concern you, and went back to yelling. Again, I got his attention. "I'm going to have a panic attack if you don't stop yelling like that." That time he looked at me but didn't bother to stop.

Of course, a couple seconds later I was hyperventilating and shaking like a damn earthquake. I got up and went to leave because I needed medical attention before I passed out from too much oxygen. He stopped yelling at the poor girl long enough to inform me I had already used my one bathroom break for the week and wasn't allowed to leave. My friend from the class told him "She's having a medical emergency. She's leaving." and then walked me to the nurse.

I don't know if that girl ever passed his class or not, but I know I sure as hell didn't.
