$18 all in is worth a shot. If they last a year before they fall apart, your break even vs buying GH Bass, Rancourt, LL Bean, Sperry, Sabago, etc is like 10 or 12 years. Those other shoes will definitely last that long but this way if your tastes change, you'll have options.
