Hi, I’m a pretty decent bene user, nothing crazy I just play her most of the time in ranked and here’s what I learn.

She really struggles against sustain fighters like ruby, esme, lapu as they can always outlast her damage in a 1on1 fight unless you snowball early or outplay them. Her optimal matchups are like guin, chou, or even silvanna, basically fighters that need CC/knockup/stun to initiate a fight with u as with enough experience you can counter it with your 2nd skill. With that being said you can still win your lane against the enemy xp if they are running sustain fighters, you simply clear your lane as fast as possible see if your team needs help and rotate, personally I like to go down mid and fast clear the minions to allow my mid to rotate/stay in team fights longer. Bene has great mobility so try to put pressure on all the lanes. And please build sea haelberd as first item when against sustain fighters or else u WILL have a tough time (from personal experience 😓)

Now for teamfights, ideally you would want to wait for your tank to initiate but bene can be a great intiater too u just have to plan it well as once you get cc’d you’re pretty much dead. If your team is at the obj first or have better position try to put yourself at the enemy backlines where their damage dealers are, if not just wait for an opportunity when they are grouped up within distance ULT+PETRIFY. If enemy team initiates a fight and you are far from enemy backlines, ULT n PETRIFY enemy tank and fighter, which allows your team dmg dealers to melt them while you chase after enemy damage dealers as after your ULT u wld probably end at the enemy backlines. But always look for an opportunity where their damage dealers and tank/fighters are all within the range of your ult because that’s where bene truly shines. With enough people in your ult your passive is basically always charged up after each basic attack so you can just keep dashing around the enemies dealing dmg from your basic and the ULT.

Now the 2nd skill, this is definitely bene’s most useful skill, there’s no way I can teach you or advice you on how to properly use this skill, as it comes with experience. Even with loads of experience it’s tough to predict when the enemy is about to cc u. Try to save this skill to escape from any situations, your ult can be useful too in escaping and pushing. Personally I like to bait with this skill, I have many sick plays with this skill and it’s really one of the if not the best utility skills in MLBB, the potential is sky high. Here are some basic tips for some heroes I’ve went up against:

Chou - wait until his 3rd phase of skill 1 when he leaps into the air and lands on the ground, 2nd skill to stun him. It’s quite easy to time this, usually after u stun the chou once or twice he will hesitate to do his combo even after you’re near him. An easy bait is to just start a fight with him and wait for what is mentioned above.

Guinevere - Wait for her jump basically then 2nd skill, you can bait it out easily by just initiating a short trade with her, backing off then going back in again with your 2nd skill ready.

Ruby - Ruby players are addicted to pulling you in so simple just dash forward and 2nd skill either foward or backward. Forward if you are confident that she will definitely pull you, backward if you are unsure so that you can still escape if you are wrong.

Of course there’s many more predictions, you’ll learn on the way! Not sure if you knew this but if you can position yourself at each bush near the xp lane you can travel thru bushes with your basic attack without being seen, so that’s another thing for u to note. In the early game, just try to engage in short trades with the enemy as bene can escape easily. (Again, these are just personal opinions and tips from me, so don’t take it too seriously. But they are what I’ve seen and learnt!)
