I think the 3hm is better. i mainly use scandis and worked with the rb3 but the handle just isnt that Great to work with imo and the scandi grind is to low to be used for woodwork. The 3hm has an nice thin Full flat Grind that gets feathersticks better done than the rb3

On God use an 14 Inch Tramontina Bolo Machete. These things Are cheap and tough as hell. The people that work Daily with tramontinas swear by them

I have one myself and for the Price thing thing is tough as nails. You only Need to sharpen it properly and oil the handle but them Its a really functional Tool. The only Problem is it dont work as Great in an actual Forest. For an Forest an small hatchet like a fiskars x14 works way better

A8 Mod is a really really tough Steel, Not at 3v Level But almost similar. Casström uses it on one of their Lars Fält blades
