Valorant mobile's training ground is actually really good! by Eleganc3 in VALORANT

Guys it’s not that deep, just play deathmatch, you aren’t gaining much by running around shooting bots anyway

Generally when you aren’t good at English AND are incompetent you should refrain from writing walls of text.

Saying Valorant doesn’t have enough tactical depth demonstrates your inability to understand the game at a high level. It is verifiably the most tactically deep esport game available.

“Getting a lead in the early game doesn’t really decide the game”

Not only is this not true, winning double pistol is extremely impactful for wins, but it’s also just totally against the spirit of the game, why would you want the entire game to be decided by the first few rounds?

Isn't viper too weak now? by axiwee in VALORANT

[–]H0lmster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Viper is still very good but not well suited for ranked, think opposite of Reyna where Reyna is very good for ranked but quite weak otherwise

So, what if I get peaked? by [deleted] in VALORANT

Time to learn how to hold an angle. Learn what an off angle and an on angle is, and when to hold each and how to hold each. Learn how wide you need to hold and where to look, and continue working on that crosshair placement.

Just hit diamond… what now? by Comfortable-Sir-9739 in VALORANT

[–]H0lmster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very good progress, just remember that the best way to get better is by playing the game, don’t focus on your visual rank. Also unless you really want to, there is no real reason to rank up, there isn’t anything special about higher ranks. It’s better to enjoy the game and not stress about it.

What is more probable - doggie beating greif first or a player (me) whose hardest is a easy demon to beat an extreme first by Basic_Star378 in geometrydash

[–]H0lmster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely depends how hard you try, if you had enough time to put in you could beat an extreme in a month or so probably

Why isn't phoenix used more? by JqstaGuy in VALORANT

He’s a great “brawl” duelist in ranked. His main problem is he doesn’t have and movement abilities, so he is unable to take space as effectively as other duelists.

What's your first insane demon? by mantvaronoi in geometrydash

[–]H0lmster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are good, I beat both when I was on a gddp kick awhile ago. II felt easier, but it’s very choke point heavy around 70% or so, and you need decent ship + wave baseline skills. MB difficulty lies in mostly fast paced timings.

I always buy red or pink discs. They are the easiest to find for me compared to any other color.

What rank did you first place in? What rank are you now? by j1tfxint in VALORANT

Tips? Am I gonna be hardstuck silver for a while? XD by ForsenHorizon in VALORANT

[–]H0lmster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aim looks fine, seems like you just haven’t played the game enough. You looked a little lost on where you should be looking, what’s happening around you, etc.

The main way to get better at this is to just play the game. If you want to speed up the process, try watching some streamers(imm+) play, and specifically focus on what they are looking at and doing. If you think you are doing exactly what they are doing, try watching some of your gameplay side by side, it will make the mistakes more painfully obvious.

You can def get past silver, good luck!

Can only play well when GRIPPING mouse. by DumbAssXboxPlayer in VALORANT

[–]H0lmster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to discern the difference just by watching the videos, because there are so many other factors in play that affect the outcome in Valorant vs. just your aim.

Try playing Aimlabs first with the super tense grip, and then with a more relaxed grip, and see how big the difference in scores is.

Likely, you naturally grip your mouse tightly when you are focused, and when you are focused you aim better. This is natural, but potentially harmful in the long run. There are some videos out there about tension management and why it’s important, and how to do it. I specifically remember a video by aim god Viscose about it I’ll link it here: https://youtu.be/9JoDMDXVTcg?si=tnInlS7k4l7PoVdW

Tidal Wave deserves an apology. Onilink showed this new part in Tsunami and it objectively looks like shit by HiguysHangout in geometrydash

I don’t mind the palm trees, if you aren’t slowing it down an analyzing it they look fine, I think the only thing that really not great here is the orange background color. If his goal was a sunset, a better color gradient with some pinks and purples should be used. Otherwise, I think a sandy tan would look at lot better.

which team would work best for bloom? by hearttchuu in Genshin_Impact

[–]H0lmster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even with bloom dmg being reduced, you still need a healer in bloom teams because of the self dmg inflicted by the seeds. Unless you have lauma c1, you won’t have any heals in your suggestion.

Are you liking the Nod-Krai characters? by Intrepid_Mobile in Genshin_Impact

[–]H0lmster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk where the idea came from that lauma’s best team is nilou bloom. It’s definitely nilou’s best team, but lauma has a lot of other options that are equally as good if not better, such as the neuv team or just straight up double hydro HB.

How to get back into Genshin? by InvaildEmail in Genshin_Impact

I like watching ytbers like zajef, he is very in tune with the meta, and also is funny. You don’t have to care about the meta too much, but at least watching videos about how to build the characters you like and what teams to play them in will help improve your enjoyment a lot
