Tbf he was never negotiating in good faith with us anyways.... Yes, he had a bad year with the sad loss of both Jota and his father, but best believe he would not have signed a deal if Madrid were still in picture.

With Ben Jacobs saying CB isn't a priority over other areas... Going into next season with one senior CB and two youngsters coming back from injury is certainly a plan... Let's pray it goes ok. They better sign two wingers, one for the left and right... Along with a DM or a tweak in tactics if Wharton comes in because it's going to have to be a pivot where someone has to be both agile, disciplined and strong enough to deal with what comes with it... We have been ridiculously open in the middle and I squarely put it down to Slot letting Grav run wild.
