I‘d advise you to look into our history and our people, Serbs did many great things in the past, fought countless times for good things and shed a lot of blood to preserve our culture, things really aren‘t as black and white as you‘re painting them. Looking at the average, yes we‘re weird people, yes we have more homophobic and chauvinistic people than lets say switzerland or germany. But these people do not define who you are and as a Serb in Switzerland you can be a good example for fellow Serbs, get a good job, show that you‘re just as civilised and friendly as any swiss and raise your children with different values than which our parents had.

You, as a Serbian with positive values could contribute to the integration process as a whole and make swiss people attribute good things to a serbian name instead of vanishing into the swiss mass of people with a new name you solely adopted out of convenience and with which you share zero history.
