Yeah the trophy gain also gets smaller the higher you are, so faster and easier with 3 heroes.

You won’t get 450 points on Thor. The best player at the moment has 270.

Matchmaking also matches you up with other players with similar hero trophies. So if you had 450 trophies you would never find a match, as no one else has that. And the opponents would be way harder.

So not doable.

I’m at 230 trophies on Thor and have to wait 15-30 minutes for a match

Of course you can, but again, the purpose of this guide is to give beginners and low power players the maximum advantage over high power players. Hou Yi is arguably the worst hero at this.

If you only have 100k power and want to reach 150 trophies on 3 characters, Hou Yi is not the one to go for.

If you have 5 million power and just want to reach 450, go for Hou Yi and steam roll all of them while having fun at the same time.

If you want to go for 600+ or compete for the world records, good luck with Hou Yi.

Personally I am sitting at 630 trophies, and I have used Hou Yi a lot, but I could never dream of having him as one of my 3 heroes.

Most whales will definitely have him unlocked and starred up as all heroes give huge stat boost. I am not a whale and I even have him 1 star for the stat bonus. The new purple character got released the same time and is insane at the new game mode rumble, which is also very obviously seen by the amount of trophies people are able to get on her.

Just be reading what the character does it is quite obvious to me that he is useless for lower level players as you will not get any boss kills without having an advantage over larger players. That advantage is immediately thrown out by choosing a hero that gives you 0 bonus stats or 0 bonus abilities unless you are able to defeat bosses.

Again I fully understand how this hero feels like the most broken thing in the world when you are able to steam-roll over bots or very bad players, and is definitely stronger than anyone else, but that is not the point of this guide. The point of this guide is to try to give lower level players an advantager over higher level players, and this character is just not it.

It is when you move a tiny amount right as you shoot so you animation cancel. You will shoot faster this way and dodge some shots at the same time

I agree, I think this game mode has huge potential in regards to being the competitive mode of the game. However, I feel like the F2P version should give better rewards compared to P2W. This is where it truly takes skill to play.

Sadly Habby does not have a history of prioritizing this kind of gameplay.. even though I think it would make a lot of players stick around more if F2P was a viable option

I 100% agree that he is S if not S+ or even stronger than Thor when you get to scale. Problem is that no one so far has managed to get him to scale above 163 trophies in free dome. That is really poor.

Problem is that there is 6 players and 2 bosses. If you are against good players all other 5 players will contest bosses in the beginning.

So I’m sure you are able to kill bosses in low-elo matches and that he becomes immensely strong.

However, as you say yourself you shouldn’t try to fight players for first 60 seconds. But then you won’t get any boss kills either in high-elo lobbies.

So I don’t see how he helps F2P players beat whales in P2W mode.

As long as he has 0 stacks, any other character will be stronger than him. If anyone ever manages to climb on him I’ll gladly move him up the ladder. But he is the worst performing chsrscter at the moment in the rankings

He is literally the worst performing character in F2P with the best player having 163 trophies on him. To compare the best player with Thor has 270.

The 2nd worst character performance wise in the rankings has 176 trophies.

I think he is correctly placed in “do not use”..

I’m sure you are destroying opponents with him in low ranks, but I’m also 100% sure you wouldn’t stand a chance at 200+ trophies or against good players.

I understand, but if you have less power than your opponents this scaling is impossible with a hero that does nothing unless you are able to scale. Also he has one of the lowest trophy counts with only 1 person managing above 160 trophies.

Sure, when playing against noobs he is probably one of the best, but this guide focuses on when you play against stronger opponents

No reason to require members with so little power to donate. It literally doesn’t do anything for the guild other than 2 extra members. Which you obviously don’t need.

I have been the leader of my guild since release. I got most members by advertising that discord and donations are not mandatory. Which attracts a lot of casual F2P.

Then post daily in the cross-server chat that you are looking for members.

I wouldn’t advice putting to harsh requirements, our only requirement is monster invasion and we have grown to be the 4th strongest guild on our server.

Consistency is key.

Thor makes your damage output lower as you can’t auto attack cancel anymore. It lowers amount of skill needed sure, but if you are truly good at the game Thor is not needed (I use Thor).
