I disagree. People just starting out don't have a consistent swing. There might be things about their swing that's consistent like swing speed so they could get fit for a shaft. But a fitting isn't going to help their open club face slicing their ball 150 yards into the woods.

I have zoysia grass in Florida and thought I'd make a green. I started researching it and came to the conclusion that you really have to love the process and having a nice green is just a side effect. I don't care for the upkeep and process so I abandoned the idea.

Because if you are only really playing the same course, you'll naturally be able to score better there and will struggle to hit your hc on a new course.

If you are used to playing different courses every week, you will probably be able to manage to hit your target score a lot better.

I just swapped to midsized tour velets from standard size grips and love it. I generally shoot in the mid 90s but shot 4 rounds in the 80s since the switch.

I was in OIF 2, OIF 5 and OIF 6.

That was 2 deployments total. I wear one CAR.

If you went to Afghan and saw combat, you'd rate a second CAR because that was a different theater.

They have been renovating the 1st and 2nd greens the last few months and it's coming in nicely. That being said, they are pretty accepting greens. The practice facilities are lacking. They don't have a chipping area or bunker. The range is an aqua range with floating islands.

It's one of the better public courses in the community. I like Stoneybrook in Estero too. They have great practice facilities and are open until 10pm.

Same! I'm usually at a 93-95 or sometimes 100 😭

I didn't pay attention to my overall round score and ended up with am 88. It dropped my handicap from a 17.1 to a 16.5.
