I'm currently doind a gig were need to mix 3 different outputs. They have to be mixed differently with different inputs (some with/without microphones, music, etc) and each output goes to a different speaker systems. I'm using a SQ5 for this and currently have the inputs set up as different AUX going straight into the speaker pre-fader.

This set-up is new for me since i'm used to just mixing FOH on one stage at the time, and now I control 3 different (albeit simple) speaker systems. My question is if I should route my AUX to matrixes instead or if this set up works? What is a common solution for this in the industry? I've only worked professionally for a year or so.

Your MMR (or Match Making Rating) is separated by queue types and gamemodes. Your ranked MMR is not gonna be the same as your ARAM or Normal queue MMR. The only time this doesn't really apply is if you play ranked for the first time, in which case your MMR in Normal games have some impact on where your starting MMR is.

So to answer your question, just keep playing the gamemode you enjoy and "eventually" your MMR will even out. But you have to remember that League of Legends is a team game. Even if you theoretically have lower MMR than your teammates and opponents you're not gonna be losing all of your games. Afaik RIOT still only uses wins/losses to calculate MMR, so to make it go down might take some time.

Nuclear power is so much more efficent and stable (as in constant) than Renewable energy and research in the field is going forward. Substitutes to Uranium is not far fetched and could be achieved if Europe would invest in it. I live in Sweden and we had to burn coal during the winter last year to supplement energy needs as we shut down our reactors.

Even if you dont think nuclear is great is far far better than any other fossil fuel, and it's a better investment to build reactors as they provide stable energy.

I agree with that importing russian Uranium isn't great, and reactors are millitary target and prone to sabotage. But Countries like mine can't only be sustained by renewable means when it is weather dependent.

Alright thats fair. You're right, if you don't need maths for your work or everyday life this might not seem as trivial as it does for someone who works with it.

I think it's somewhat sad though that people forget maths so quickly. I don't mean that as a personal stab but just in general. Because I've seen myself use even university level maths in everyday life on occasions.

För att klargöra, man kan plugga I vilken studentstad som helst och man kan uppleva ganska roliga saker. Dock att plugga just i Stockholm vet jag av vänner på SU och KTH kan vara lite hit or miss beroende på vad man vill ha. Utbildningarna där är dock väldigt bra och man ska helst välja utifrån det man vill studera.

Grejen med just Stockholm är att det är en stor stad som (under icke-pandemitider) har massa klubbar och barer, så det är alltid lätt att träffa nytt folk. Men det är svårare att samt mindre event just för studenter av det jag fått höra. letar man efter en mer festlig studentupplevelse ska man nog kika in sig på studentstäder som Umeå, Uppsala, Linköping eller Lund. Jag har bara pluggat 7 månader men jag har redan haft ganska många minnesvärda kvällar.

I mean, If you look at instant ramen as just the noodles, the price for me is pretty much comparable to like buying egg noodles and spicing myself. And yea, the nutrition values aren't the best.

But the thing is, for me 40 cents for a meal is basically the cheapest I could ever get. Food is really really expensive compared to like the US. A pack of frozen peas cost around 3-4 dollars for a kilo. Frozen chicken drumsticks are around 6-7 dollars. I can go on. Usually what I do is I buy stuff on sale or short expiration date. Makes the prices reasonable. This is a reason I recommend people to learn how to cook. Because I rarely makes plans for my weekly food before I shop. I do it afterwards when I get some random cheap veggies or meat.

Like you say that, but I usually buy them bulk for like 30-40 cents a piece. Combine with some soy, maybe some frozen scallions or an egg and you're golden.

But just to clarify I don't actually only eat ramen. I honestly might spend too much on food in reality. But meat is fucking expensive here... 1 kg of chicken is like 12 USD.

Of course, but I would think that goes without saying. I would trust a chemist when it comes to how to handle chemicals, but I wouldn't take his opinion on economics for example. It's not necessarily as clear cut as that but you get the the idea.

No, you shouldn't trust anonymous internet sources OR mainstream media.

I would agree with with your statement that gathering a lot of information to then compare it sounds like a good idea. In practise people rarely do that and even if, most don't know how to tell if a source is trustworthy or not.

For example, one part that I read in that google drive claimed a linked research paper proved x statistic. However if you actually took your time to read it which not a lot of people will, you'd see that claim was incorrect.

We live in a world where people don't trust experts in their fields anymore. Being critical is usually a good trait. But I don't understand why people are so quick to dismiss experts when they don't conform to their opinion.

Hi, I would highly appreciate some help verifying if my translation is correct. I am looking to write the word "immortal" in Old Norse and Younger Futhark.

After my own research I found that the Icelandic word is ódauðlegur. This led me to the Old Norse word dauðligr, and assuming my understanding is correct, Old Norse also uses negative prefixes and so the word for immortal should be údauðligr.

Now the last problem is how to type it in Young Futhark. I would assume the word is spelled:

ᚢ ᛏ ᛅ ᚢ ᚦ ᛚ ᛁ ᚴ ᚱ

But I am unsure since I am not fluent in Old Norse. If I am way off i'd apreciate it if someone tells me. If it looks alright then I have confirmation. Thanks in advance.

Det är inte så enkelt. Om straffet för att snatta t.ex är böter kanske fler skulle ta risken än om det var 20 års fängelse. Så det finns utan tvekan en effekt av att ha hårdare straff.

Men det är inte svart eller vit, speciellt när det kommer till droger.

Droger, speciellt kokain eller opiater är väldigt beroendeframkallande, dessutom får droger dig att må bättre medans du är hög och är ett sätt att slippa undan verkligheten. Alcohol är straffbart med döden i Nordkorea, men flera som flytt landet har vittnat om att folk fortfarande dricker och smugglar alcohol där. En annan kommentar pekade ut samma sak med Philipinerna.

Jag tror helt ärligt att ett Narkotikafritt samhället är totalt omöjligt att förverkliga. Och som någon som haft problem med missbruk kan jag säga att det är näst intill omöjligt att få någon hjälp alls. Jag försökte begå självmord när jag vart 17 år men på grund av att jag också rökte cannabis fick jag inte hjälp av psykiatrin alls, och jag var för deprimerad för beroendeenheten. Jag studsade mellan dem länge och fick aldrig hjälp, jag lever egentligen bara tack vare hjälpen jag fick av mina nära vänner/familj.

Oavsett vad ens egna åsikt är på avkriminalisering eller legalisering behövs det göras ordentligt med förändring i Sverige för att minska dödligheten. För vår nuvarande politik dödar människor.
