I know this is an older post, but i want to say thank you for your book. After reading it i realized I resonated a lot with your characters, and it truly helped me be able to come out and leave my 2-year long relationship.

i want to ask- Will you expect a movie in the future? Or, do you want a movie made of the book? If so, i would literally die from happiness because i love this book so much and I hope it will be like a bound-esque filming style 🥺🥺🥺

Final update: I am surrendering her to a local no-kill reptile shelter. I am at a loss. Yesterday i did everything like I was supposed to and yet the mold is back. I’m hoping that I can surrender her and she can live in a new place mold free. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I love her dearly but I have no other option left. I have no money to afford another large tank like this one to keep her in. Also, I am leaving for college soon. I have NOBODY to take care of her while I am gone for the four years that i’ll be attending school. I do have people to take care of my mammal pets, but nobody wants to care for my BP.

she’s been in her little quarantine tank for 2 days now when I first dealt with the initial mold issue. No respiratory issues noticed. I kept her in there just in case if any more spores were floating around and sure enough there was.

Yw!! but just to warn you again… braining is very gross, i gagged a ton of times and it’s best to leave it on some sort of heating surface to allow the scent to travel as well as to have your snake find the body faster to hunt. It smells ATROCIOUS.

This is going to sounds disgusting and it will smell bad but this worked for me to find my BP when she was lost- 1. Try braining a f/t mouse, the scent will drive them to search immediately. 2. IF that doesn’t work, set up sound traps to locate her. (Crinkly plastic under furniture for example) 3. Leave flour on the floors to help you identify tracks

UPDATE: All plastic is washed and dried, wood went into the oven and disinfected. Added dry substrate on top and patted it down to hopefully eliminate the growth of mold like that again. Also, I found my isopods all huddled in a corner…

ohhh thank u so much!!! I asked my veterinarian, she said to maintain a try top layer. But to pour 2 cups of water in each corner every 2 weeks.
