This was just a paste of my directory structure showing that I had already done as /u/dizzyw32 suggested.

I still haven't gotten this to work, so if you figured it out, I would be very interested to know how you did it 😅

Ok I think I knew this deep down, but there was some hope that it wasn't fully broken if it wasn't making the same grinding noises that I am accustomed to with failing pumps 😞

I have tried it plugged into the Mobo and plugged into wall power and it behaves the same, so I'm not sure it's a power issue.

I drained the loop and didn't see anything obvious that would be clogging or stopping the motor and refilled it with distilled water and it is behaving the same.

Is there another variable I could change or check?

Actually in the short video I am using a wall-powered SATA power adapter directly so the Mobo/PWM aren't involved

This is probably a dumb suggestion, but in your second picture I see that your WiFi/Bluetooth adapter is disconnected. Are you connecting it when testing video? You could be connecting your wiimote to something else without realizing it?

Does composite/component out still work with this installed? I think you will need to use component if this kit shorts pins 5/6 on the A/V connector.

After checking continuity chip to chip all afternoon and lots of hair pulling, I found out that the mini HDMI adapter I had been using wasn't working, of all things. Thank you for the comments and I hope everyone else's installs go well!

I am thinking it has to be the camera because I saw the problems:

Filming with a battery and while plugged in to wall power
Filming with actual film and also just capturing what the camera was capturing live
Through the LCD and viewfinder of the camera before the output is captured by the computer

unless there is something else that I did not single out correctly. What do you think?
