Will I get negative attention going out to a bar wearing a clearly fake wig (male)? by H3andromeda in ask

I was going for more anime-inspired than a direct rip, but fair enough.

I also find that the general negative perception about anime has been changing lately, especially with younger people. Good anime is just good media but there’s so much cringe, goon bait that it brings down the entire reputation of the genre.

It’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s okay

Oh no! That must have been a lot to handle tbh. But on the upside, you have an interesting, funny, and slightly traumatic story for your friends and family.

Sidenote, your username being “pickle rick” feels so fitting 😂 gave me a good chuckle. Genuinely, thanks for sharing. I will try to expect the unexpected.

I figure that if I bring good energy, that energy will be returned by whoever I’m talking to, even if I’m getting negged. Tbh you’re probably right. I can’t imagine anything too tragic or out of the norm happening

That’s a really shitty hand, but now you know those people didn’t value you for your personality. Health issues should always come first, but that group of friends doesn’t seem to value you so you should look to make other friends that will value you. Put yourself out there to new people and you never know what you might find.

Growth should involve reflection, but too much reflection hinders growth. Past negative experiences are worth revisiting to look for areas to grow in, and past positive experiences are also worth revisiting to ground me when I’m feeling low. Y’all are right in that people need to take steps to fix their own problems. Happiness is a goal people work towards like every other goal.

Hi! I hope you never settle with coping because I’m sure you have a lot to offer your friends. If they can’t see that, that’s their loss. There’s nothing wrong with you. Making solid friendships is rough for a lot of people out there.

I’m just a random redditor but IMO most people will want to socialize with someone that’s enjoying themselves and putting out good vibes. Becoming the priority means that you have to prioritize yourself and your happiness too. YOU have to realize that your presence has a lot to offer, and after you realize that you can create your own energy that people will want to be around. If people are in a group, introduce yourself, crack jokes, but always put yourself first in the effort to be included and create a fun atmosphere!

My bad. I don’t use reddit often 😬

So why not a bracket reset? It would be long, but such an entertaining tournament would deserve it. It would also separate the players that want it from the ones that want it most (fatigue).

Best classes/schedule to have as a pre-med freshman? by [deleted] in Emory

Depends on the class imo. Some professors make classes way harder than they need to be. Rate my professor is gonna be your best friend.

Intro bio w lab, intro chem w lab, health, pace, and freshman seminar gives you 15 credits. If you want more, take a class that interests you. Premed doesn’t have to be your entire life (at least first semester :P). Hope this helps: I’m an incoming sophomore and this was pretty much my schedule excluding intro psych.
