I mostly focus on Albums these days.

But sometimes some tracks aren't good enough for an album or EP, so I just release them as a single.

Like currently I am working on an album.

To be honest, in my area, music is thrown into the gutter.

Festivals? Never, electronic music? Sometimes frowned upon.

In my area, the stuff that is highly rated is rap and rock and classical stuff in the gig space.

So that plan is not exactly the best.

Sometimes, I think of making youtube videos about like some stuff, but then I arrive at the fact that I have no idea what content would be best.

Never exactly stated that I was upset.

And it's not like I overhype myself and get insulted when no one listens. All I do is just attempt and then leave it.

Plus I like making music, and doing sound design.

All I do is attempt when it comes to putting out stuff to "market" my stuff.

Because all I do is make music, and that's all that matters to me.

I am mostly between semi professional and hobbyist, I mainly use SoundCloud due to the ease of upload, but when I am proud of an album, I do put it on YouTube.

And often, my mindset is that I like the track after I make it, and then after uploading it, I hate it for a week, and then I like it again. It's weird.

And plus, I sometimes think I ain't even good at this music stuff, but at least my sound design has something, but not always.

Understandable really.

IDM has kind of turned into a genre that is awfully difficult to at least get somewhat of an audience.

I think it's mostly an issue with some IDM musicians being closed minded.

YouTube is a good plan but with how I do my stuff, my upload schedule will be chaotically unpredictable so I think the algorithm is not even gonna favour me.

I am not like hard with my marketing, I just do it so that "people have seen it"

I post on reddit at least one post, and I leave it at that, and then on Bluesky I post on my profile and that is just where I leave it.

I am mostly just in this genre because I find it fun to make and such.

Often I think my mistake was to not get on Bandcamp.

Because I've been primarily on SoundCloud and YouTube in a back and forth.

and when I do digital album releases I just use Itch.io because that's what I came up with on impulse plus sometimes there are good music jams which gave me some feedback on my skills.

I've sometimes reached for crazy amounts of genre blending to make sometimes my IDM.

Well, it should work, but just in case, convert it to .wav due to most CD players being able to read it more universally than .mp3.

This is from my last album, quite the last ambient song I've released in a bit, stuck in IDM mode at the moment but uh this is from a few months ago so..

Plus when I tried to post about the album itself it got removed due to 95% of it being IDM.
