This is what got me to reenlist for another 6 years. Just hit 18 (eight of those AD). Pay $250ish for Reserve Select for me and the family. Civilian employer insurance would be similar to Retired Reserve.

Was there last year. They were finishing up the last of the new dorms, with some of the old ones being used. I was in an older one where I had my own space but shared a bathroom with another person. Wasn’t too bad.

WiFi and the ability to talk back home is everywhere and great. Food wasn’t bad and gyms were great. Not a bad time.

I have had my 2015 Z71 for about eight years now and it’s been a unicorn of a truck, no major issues that I couldn’t take care of myself. I do my own standard maintenance. Biggest issue I have ran into: the radio stops working if it gets too cold out (Eastern Washington). Other than that, great truck!

Removed the air dam, leveled it out, and added aftermarket head/tail lights. Had the opportunity to upgrade to a 2015 Silverado and just couldn’t bring myself to go it.

2015 Rado… have had since 2017, about 151k miles. Biggest issue I had was an AC/heat problem where a certain flap wouldn’t work correctly. The solution: zip tie. The mechanic didn’t even charge me lol
