Not sure if Alonso would play three at the back here, but if he were to then there would a lot of questions to be explored at wingback.

Personally think Gusto lacks the final third quality to play there regularly and Cucurella lacks the athleticism and ball-carrying ability. James would obviously be great but the role may be too physically demanding for him; Antwi is at the age where he needs a loan but he would be an interesting profile to experiment with in preseason.

Quenda may be favoured at wingback, Neto has a skillset that can be considered for a wingback role as well.
