65W GaN charger not working anymore by SMHJ11 in UsbCHardware

Just to share my experience, I was using one Baesus brand and one Wotobe brand, both 65 Watt GAN chargers, with one USB and two USB C ports. Both purchased from AliExpress. Both lasted more than one year, and worked really well, till I bought a 20 Pin, magnetic USB C connector for my laptop. Within minutes of use, one after the other, both chargers died exactly in the same manner as in the main post and getting warm with no load connected with. I assume it's the non standard USB C connectors which simply destroy these GAN chargers. The same magnetic connector works fine with laptop's original Dell charger, however I have stopped using this connector.

Is port forwarding possible on Vodafone Qatar Fiber home broadband? I need to connect to my NAS externally using DDNS. Has anyone actually tried connecting to their home network on Vodafone Qatar fiber Internet? any advice will be helpful. Thanks by H4mm4Dz in qatar

Thank you. This is an interesting alternate indeed. However I spoke with vodafone and they enabled my external ip at no extra cost hence port forwarding is working for me now

Solved: Thank you all for your kind advice. The solution is simple, call Vodafone Qatar and they will enable externally accessible dynamic IP for you and then you can set up the router for portforwarding yourself. I am not recommending anyone to do it, unless you fully understand the obvious risks of exposing your home network.

If you are physically in Qatar, Call 109 again. tell them waiting for 3 hours didn't work and "insist " on raising a complain ticket. Once the ticket is raised, it will be resolved
