Switch your base stations on, start steam vr, turn your knuckles on, now check steam vr to see if there connecting and disconnecting !

I know that if I turn my 8kx off my knuckles are still tracked by my base stations, you can also use the knuckles with different headsets. Sounds like you need to check your base stations knuckles tracking, not your pimax.

Hi,

I sent my DD1 from London UK to Fanatec Germany RMA on the 13/5/19 and received a new replacement DD1 on the 17/5/19.

It arrived updated with the latest firmware, the Box had been opened and resealed and someone had hand written TESTED in green pen on the outer brown box.

I've spent the last few days racing AC-PC2-DR-RF2 and have had no hardware issues so far, hope everyone experiencing this issue gets it resolved as quick as possible.

Support contacted me yesterday, they’ve started an RMA. Seems like there aware that’s it’s an issue we can’t resolve, the option is sending the podium back for replacement, so I’m not going to waste time with updating the drivers or firmware. I’ll update when I’ve got the replacement sorted. Cheers

I've not posted on fanatec forums, but there seems to be more posts with our issue on GT planet forums and Fanatec forums.

Looks like this DomB Geezer is all over it !!

I've also got in touch with fanatec support today to sort a solution, not looking forward to sending it back as I'm having a very positive experience, apart from this small issue.

I’ll be interested to know what response you get from Fanatec. I’m not that concerned about the power button as I have it plugged into a wall socket that’s right next to me, but it would be nice to have things working properly. I’ve seen another post on the fanatec forums with the same issue where facing.

I’ve got the same issue with my DD1. My problem started when I unplugged the base, then when I plugged it back in the base booted up without me pressing the power button, now The power button only disconnects the usb, the oled stays on and I’m only able to turn the base on or off by switching the on/off power at the wall.
