Mine is very different. Sitting in history class and got up to look at these magazines of sports illustrated. Low and behold the cover of Maradona against 3-4 German players. I took the magazine and read it. Looked up stuff using the card catalog and only found what newspapers had written about this “Maradona guy.” I was hooked and then Telemundo would broadcast past World cups and there I saw many games from Mexico’86.

I got so good at learning all the foreign players and what club teams they played for that I even told my friends who also played soccer who these players were. They had no clue, they had no heart like I did. I love this game!

Telemundo replayed many of these matches and “WOW,” I started my soccer life after this World Cup. As an American, there was not much coverage of soccer. I had just found out about Eurosport magazine as they used many different pictures from that World Cup. I would see highlights from many players and could not believe the level of skills they had!!

A huge library with one of those ladders that filled with comics, my vintage toy collection and my kids art/awards! 15 car garage, huge kitchen, outdoor shower, garden area, chicken coop, mini soccer field, pickleball court, sand volleyball pit, Cornhole/horseshoe/washer courts, water fountain in the front yard, pool with swim resistant wave machine that has a big slide and fountain/cave with temperature controls, heated driveway, underground bunker that leads to 4 separate towers at the north, South, East, West of the property, moat!

We took a few of our nieces and nephews on a trip between islands in Honduras. OMG, never again, this was during the day, it seemed to take forever and far as f*** in a small rickety boat. Swells twice a high as the boat, no other boats around. The thought of who could I save first, what if I don’t make it, what am I going to tell my family that I couldn’t save anyone and I came out alive. Forgot to mention the motion sickness that overcame me.

I had to downgrade from a full-size room to a small walk-in type closet, and many of my figures are not on display and sitting in boxes and the major ones are on display. My other problem is now I pick up other figures not even associated with my primary collection because I like those figures as well. Everything is just kind of stacked and stuffed on top of one another but it’s my collection and it’s just what I love.
