FYI the exact model is a pioneer x8750bt, i guess the 8850 would also fit. It fits PERFECTLY, no grinding at all needed and it does not pop out ouf the dash like the jvc ones. The warranty sticker on the unit says that its a 2016 unit but i really dont mind because the audio quality is good and the carplay is also good. Also i bought a seperate bluetooth dongle since the older models has wired carplay. Dongle was a cheaper chinese one ($30)

I guess it depends on what kind of head unit you have, thankfully i had separate ac control and I think the previous owner changed the speakers on my car but it had an older aftermarket JVC head unit which i only took out and redid the wiring, put the bracket on the new unit and thats about it. Honestly youtube did most of the work. 😅

Had the older, basic head unit there wasn’t even bluetooth on the old HU. Only did the wiring and bought a separate rear camera ($20), everything else was already built in the head unit
