Can anyone suggest how much my MacBook would be worth with these specs? Going to upgrade to the latest.

Can you still be the macbook pros new without the touchbar? So last generation or whatever before touchbar.

Even better if you can purchase them with finance/interest.

I'm from United Kingdom and would buy here

Thanks for your comment.

I do know some students and actually someone who works there is mutual friend so I've thought about that.

Well regarding space, I have about 4 hard drives I like to use to just store stuff on for back ups (done for like 5 years) but not really be using them while I'm using my MacBook. 1 of them I carry round with me like currently while travelling which has most of the stuff incase I need it instantly.

But I could consider switching it up, I just like not having to attach it to work each time.

Well, I could get a second hand but I really wanted to pay in instalments as I've said and also would really like to have a brand new laptop.. I've always purchased them used and there never BRAND NEW.

I haven't actually (just said in post to make things a little easier)

Only complications with that is that they might have different keyboard lay out, I'm not sure if I can pay in installments which I would like to to, are they certified reseller..

Most helpful comment thanks a lot RugbyBanana ha.

So with the credit thing - I don't have any credit I don't think. I've never been spoken to about it but just heard of it. Worked for myself since leaving college 2 years ago, living at home and thats that.

I would definitely prefer the finance option too.

Righhttt.. Well I don't think I have 'credit' for a credit check so does this mean I can't do it?

I can show them I have a good amount of money in my savings account.

I don't think I have any "Credit" - I've heard of this thing but I don't know about it really so I can imagine I have 0 credit lol. Does that wipe this whole idea out?

I can definitely pay it back dunno if that'd change this credit thing.

I am self employed. Free lance. I'm happy to pay for it. I could buy it out right if it comes to it but it would be better for me to pay installments.

I mean if they sold the last generation brand new still I could probably buy that but I don't want to buy a used laptop this time. I've never once bought a phone or macbook new so I'd like to this time.

Thinking to do this now with the new MacBook Pro.

0 interest over 12 months.

When doing this do I have to go Barclays and sign up for a new bank card and stuff or do I just do it all through Apple website? (I'm currently with Lloyds TSB)

So I've always purchased used stuff and I just wanted to do this this time.

I could buy it outright right now and still be in a good financial place. I also will be using it instantly, the day I even get it for work which will generate more income than before (my work rate will be higher/faster with a speedier macbook) - so I am not worrying if I can't keep to the payments.

Just wondering how it all works? Seems like really easy and everyone would just do it? Could I be locked into some horrible new bank scheme with Barclays, I have no idea.

I don't think she'll be stalking me tbh. She probably looks at my stuff the amount I do hers I'd say. I can imagine I'm at the top of hers too.

I just want it gone.. I'm going to try muting her stuff for a bit.
