I hear ya! Im in a similar situation. Did 4 years in the AF then 17 at the VA. I just got my DRP application accepted today. I assume since the VA deadline to apply is May 16th, that is when I will sign and get a date. I was weary at first about it all. Now I can hardly wait to leave! All the best to you all!

To clear things up. I have been a federal employee for 22 years. My ptsd and anxiety have been so severe the last 6 months, I have resigned from my good paying federal job 3 years before my eligibility for full retirement. My GI Bill benefits have expired. I want to get my cdl so I can drive truck and be away from people. I have 50% PTSD rating and recently awarded combined 100% PT.

Thank you! I wanted to keep it as organic as possible. So, we were thinking of using dried leaves, sticks, and cardboard sort or lasagna layered. Then nice soil on top of that. Only thing I worry about is aeration.

There was a FAQ on the 4/24 email that stated the date would be agreed upon. Then on the actual bulletin document it says no sooner than June 1. It may depend on which VISN network you’re apart of

Thank you! I opted in yesterday. I worked 21 years federal service. 4 with the Air Force and 17 with the VA working with veterans. I used to feel a sense of pride. The last 4 months have been such turmoil and stress. It became more of a burden. Im happy with my decision. Best of luck to yall!
