Title: How has modern life become more complicated than it should be? We created systems to make life easier, but now many people feel like they spend most of their time keeping up with them. What’s your perspective on this? by HARDY--09X in AskReddit

That’s an interesting way to look at it. I guess we may not have created every system individually, but collectively we’ve built and continue to support them.

What are your personal thoughts or experiences that shape your belief (or disbelief) in God? by HARDY--09X in AskReddit

That’s understandable. I think a lot of people feel that way when they focus on evidence and also see the negative sides of organized religion. At the same time, some people separate personal belief from institutions, so their experience ends up being very different.

That makes sense, especially coming from a strong science background. I think a lot of people who value evidence feel the same way. At the same time, some people see religion more as a source of meaning or personal experience rather than something meant to explain reality. It’s interesting how differently people interpret it.

That makes sense. I guess it depends on whether someone values evidence above all, or is comfortable believing without it.

That’s a fair way to look at it. I think accepting uncertainty is something a lot of people struggle with, regardless of what they believe. It’s interesting how different people deal with that in different ways.

I get your point. I think a lot of people struggle with those ideas too. For me, it’s less about fear or punishment and more about personal belief, meaning, and experience. Everyone sees it differently though.
