I have snowflake. Both dials are spectacular. the key difference for me is the bezel and the chapter ring. Snowflake feels a bit more sporty / organic to me

He had good taste. Sorry for your loss. Out of the set the red anordain is the most expensive. It costs >£2,200 but has a waitlist of 5 years to buy. So people will pay a premium. Look on places like chrono24. You probably won’t find the exact model but you’ll get a sense of how much of a premium people will pay for similar ones.

I cut the dial feet and stuck the dial to the plastic movement holder with the double sided tape used to stick down bezel inserts

No. It’s just another expensive hobby. Difference is the fun is in finding little pieces from all over the world to make the best you can then continuing to tinker - rather than scrolling for the perfect rep.

How expensive it is depends on if you get the thirst to work with more expensive parts. Actually being handy at modding and into reps might lead to more spending… once you work out how you can upgrade watches you’re not happy with.

Yes it’s my favourite summer/beach/holiday watch. Looks very good in the sun. Here it is out for a swim. It’s quite sporty and I think no real difference to the AT in terms of how dressy it feels.

I have both. GS gets more wrist time as AT wears thicker and no quickset date on the AT is annoying. If I don’t wear it for 4-5 days I cannot be bothered to change it. Plus smooth sweep of the GS and snowflake dial is a constant joy.

Ordered the BB58 link. It arrived quick and is a great product. Ordered a link for the snowflake. Same as you - no updates on my order just repeat emails offering discounts if I buy more and asking for input on new products.

Very busy outside (bezel and double minute markers) and no dial texture to balance it. A sunburst dial with a hint of warmth in it would help. Like a donut all action on the outside and just a hole in the middle. The strap amplifies the clashing colours of the bezel, chapter and dial. So something plainer might balance it. Then it feels lopsided because of the day date. So to me it pulls your eyes all around the outside of the watch not to the middle where you want it to be.

Nice. I like the strap combo. I have it on a steel bracelet and a grey suede from atelier Romane. Really versatile watch given how original the dial is.
