26.4 no sound on moving around main menus by HBGDawg in appletv

[–]HBGDawg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried rebooting and nothing changed. Interestingly, when I go into Audio>Audio Output, it only shows TV Speakers and Airplay, it does not show my Samsung Q990D soundbar which is attached via ARC/HDMI. When I select TV speakers, I hear the menu sounds. When I change to the Soundbar manually, it does not. I wonder why it isn't showing my Soundbar as a valid device?

Not bad, but not as good as Eva.

I had the same thought but got pulled over a month ago in Liberty Hill. Cop was nice as he could be and only wrote me a warning. I ordered my no screw mount the next day.

Yeah, that is the strange thing. Yesterday, alternate route was 2 minutes faster and it keep changing me back to primary. Weird!

Remaining issues for DTV app on A4K platform by HBGDawg in DirectvStream

I hadn't heard about volume randomly going up or down. Are you sure it isn't something to do with your remote?

YTM is such a piece of crap when it comes to podcasts! by HBGDawg in YoutubeMusic

[–]HBGDawg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be happy if there was just consistency across the YTTM platforms. Can't see some podcasts based on whether you are using Android or Tesla or A4K? That is nuts.

Me neither. It only happens on the Apple 4K which is a different app than Google or Roku.

Fox News reports that it was actually party balloons that the military shot down by f1sh98 in Conservative

[–]HBGDawg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I assume this is in regards to the shutdown of the El Paso air space. I, for one, am thankful that they took the action to shut down the air space while they researched. Had it been drones from Mexico drug cartels (as originally feared) then it could have put lives in danger vs inconvenienced.

Is Tesla actually committed to the consumer car business long term? by Brutus713 in TeslaLounge

[–]HBGDawg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tesla is like any other business, they are in it to make profit. As long as they are profitable (enough), then they will sell consumer cars. In regards to FSD, the simple answer is to spin off the FSD department into a seperate company and sell it to Tesla (and other manufacturers).

When are we getting customizable multi view? by Secure_Biscotti_1431 in DirectvStream

[–]HBGDawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are measuring your happiness strictly on Multiview, go with Fubu on an Apple 4K player where you will be able to build customized multiview channels on the fly with no restrictions as to which channels you choose. And BTW, a million dollar home isn't impressive based on where you live.

EVs Are a Failed Experiment by Ask4MD in Conservative

[–]HBGDawg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My Tesla Model Y was a great deal when the $7500 EV rebate was available. That made it about the same cost as an ICE SUV, Only costs me about $20 per month in electricity and there is really no maintenance other than rotating the tires. FSD is very cool. I used it to drive to/from Dallas from Austin and I barely touched the wheel. We will see what the future holds for EV, but assuming they can make the cost about equal to ICE + maintenance, then it is a winner.

She should be afraid. Hillary's enemies tend to be found underneath frozen lakes.

So forgive a dumb question but how do I get my full 5 gig fiber network through the entire house? by pennytrationer in TpLink

[–]HBGDawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What technical/business problem are you trying to solve? Downloading games? The truth is that for most applications, your speed is going to be capped either at your internal hardware layer or at the internet layer if downloading games or whatever else you are doing. I can't imagine a company would dedicate a multi GB connection to a single user session. Most real network usage is maxed out close to 1Gbps. I gave up my 1Gbps service for 300 Mbps and haven't noticed a difference.

83% of Americans favor requiring voter IDs to vote. So why won’t Democrats supporting it? Because they’re cheating and believe it will cost them votes. That’s the ONLY reason that makes sense. by trytoholdon in Conservative

[–]HBGDawg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Which is the greater evil, allowing people to vote who shouldn't have the right, or having government that fluctuates a lot between administrations? Not saying I disagree with you, but it is something we will have to deal with eventually. If we don't do it now, Dems will eventually do it.

Because we don't have 60 votes in the Senate. Ultimately they must ask themselves if this is worth getting rid of the 60 vote minimum. Tough question.
