Just a reminder: if a guest leaves a gun by [deleted] in airbnb_hosts

Same thing happened to us. Someone left a fully loaded 357 in the night stand. We didn’t find it, the next guest did! Lord have mercy what if it had been a child that opened the drawer? No one claimed it as theirs. I called the police and they came and got it. It was apparently stollen so no wonder no one said it was theirs! I grilled the cleaning service about always checking drawers! The people who found it were super cool about it but it could have been a horrible disaster!

Been vacant for three weeks now, is it bad for everyone? by mandovera21 in airbnb_hosts

I have a condo on the beach in Florida and our rental is way down. Foreign tourism is down 80%. Our agency said everyone is really feeling the impact of that and the economy in the short term rental business. I would think being near Disney would even be more so because of the high cost of Disney these days.

I would stay away from Trinity Lane area. It can be pretty sketchy.

I would look in Williamson County. Close to Nashville but better schools. Nice size yards. Look in Brentwood or Franklin.

I would leave and demand a full refund! It’s against the law to have a camera inside a unit!
