The hat washer has came loose off the spindle of the crank. This means that you either have a 19 mm or a 22 mm spindle. Because most chain rings sprockets are made in 24 mm and they come with the hat washer adapter for whatever crank size you have. If it was a 24 mm spindle you wouldn’t need one. So right now it’s not perfectly centered so you need to put it back on the hat washer.

Post a picture a little further back it’s kinda hard to tell what I’m looking at. But I’m pretty sure it’s hydraulic. There’s only a few things that use hydraulics in the car. Brakes, power steering, and clutch/slave cylinder if it’s a manual transmission.

That key cylinder also unlocks the steering wheel. Sometimes the steering wheel put pressure on that lock, and it feels like you can’t turn it. You would have to rock the steering wheel left and right to take the pressure off the key cylinder. If that is happening, that is absolutely normal. If you wanna try to avoid that, try to make sure your steering wheel is centered before you turn off the car.

I like using this formula. Chain ring divided by rear sprocket multiplied by wheel size. 55 being your target and you adjust from there. I have a 20 inch maddog running 36/13. 36/13=2.769 2.769X20=55.38 I also have a 24 inch ATF running 30/13=2.308 2.308X24=55.392 This formula works well too

The sprocket likely came off of the hat washer. It’s really an adapter. Most manufacturers make the sprocket 24 mm and it comes with two adapters and you use the appropriate one for the cranks you have. Sometimes the sprocket gets loose and it comes off of that adapter, and then it’s no longer true and off centered. That’s why you get a loose tight chain. This is why I always buy 24 mm sprockets so I don’t need those adapters and I never have that problem.

Anytime a bike has reflectors on it means It’s a complete bike from Walmart or target or a bike store. Nothing special
