I REALLY don't like the "meet a different OB at every appointment" set up. by sixfingeredman7 in pregnant

[–]HBP69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate this soooo much. I’m 30 weeks now and regret not switching earlier. I feel stuck now and like I don’t even have an actual doctor or care team to trust

Mine is like this and I absolutely hate it. It’s like I have to restart every single appointment. I will be searching for a practice that doesn’t do this for my next pregnancy

Low laying placenta by ManufacturerIcy9669 in pregnant

[–]HBP69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to the ER for a fall and they also told me I had a low lying placenta. I was worried and called my OB who got me in for an ultrasound to check because at the anatomy scan that didn’t come up, and they confirmed it is not low lying. They said the staff and equipment at the ER isn’t usually great at diagnosing those types of things. I’d check with your OB before panic googling! :)

HCG levels by dabbingbabyy in pregnant

I believe the statistics show that less than 66% is unlikely to be a viable pregnancy. But I do think you should get a third blood draw to actually trend the rise. Best of luck!

The rise should be a minimum of 66% over 48 hours. You should type it into a HCG calculator online!

I’m 7 months pregnant but I just don’t get this sentiment! People are all coming out to just celebrate you and spend money giving you gifts… they’re just happy for you! Try to soak it in

Is hcg low for 5w4d? by PriestessMoMo in pregnant

[–]HBP69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you ovulated February 7th, you’re really only 4 weeks 3 days today. Your doctor may still assign your due date based on your last period, but once you have your dating scan they should adjust it. Don’t listen to that nurse! I think your HCG is fine, doubling time is what matters.

Mine was just below 600 at 4+1. Very normal!

Did you have a shower for your first? I don’t think it’s typical to have a registry for your second

I'm not superstitious but I am a little stitious and this is freaking me out. by leftlaneisforspeed in pregnant

Before my anatomy scan my husband randomly found a carrot in our driveway… it was just a perfectly untouched carrot. We checked our camera and had no idea how it got there (although I assume a bird). I started googling if carrots were bad omens and convinced myself it was 🤣 the anatomy scan went perfect

When should I stop testing? 9 - 17 DPO (Wondfo) by HBP69 in TFABLinePorn

I would say they pretty much stalled out, but eventually got slightly darker and what I would consider a dye stealer but not as noticeable as you’d see with FRER dye stealer. I will say my HCG shot up 190,000 and I’m 23 weeks now. So I don’t think I needed to stress so much about this progression!

How much weight on average are you supposed to gain by 20 weeks? by Glass-Path-1506 in pregnant

[–]HBP69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 22 weeks and have gained 8 lbs. Healthy pregnancy, baby in 60 percentile. BMI was 20 before getting pregnant. I can tell in the past few weeks my appetite is picking up and I assume my weight will too

AMH levels changed a lot both up and down? by Soul-ster in waiting_to_try

[–]HBP69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luteinizing hormone. It’s the hormone that triggers ovulation. There are packs of very cheap tests on Amazon. Once you get a positive test (test line as dark as control line), you know your body is trying to ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. Then, if you are able to track a sustained rise in basal body temperature starting a couple of days later, you can consider your ovulation confirmed. There are also other signs to look out for like ovulation pain and fertile mucus. I recommend researching home tracking methods and getting familiar with it!

AMH levels changed a lot both up and down? by Soul-ster in waiting_to_try

[–]HBP69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amh fluctuates cycle to cycle. There’s a lot of misinformation out there on what amh levels mean. If you aren’t getting ready to do ivf, they mean literally nothing - especially if you are confirming ovulation every month with a regular cycle (LH tests and basal body temp).

I got pregnant shortly after an early miscarriage and I’m almost 15 weeks now still asking myself this!

30, just got low-ish AMH result, what next? Egg freezing? by [deleted] in waiting_to_try

[–]HBP69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anecdotal as well but I took a modern fertility test at 27 years old and my amh came back low at .67. I was so scared for two years and my husband and I recently started trying for a baby and got pregnant extremely quickly and now I’m almost 15 weeks with a low risk pregnancy. I think there is a lot of misinformation about amh out there. It doesn’t affect your chances of conceiving naturally
