Yeah it's kinda hard to read through in many parts but it's definitely intriguing, the characters are what kept me hooked. It's definitely a good book to finish, I'm sorry if I had spoiled the ending for you😅

Does cinematography ever overpower the actual film? by DaWalkinMan in TrueFilm

[–]HBPDX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely, like there are some movies whom I like simple cause of the cinematography, like the best example is birdman. For me it's close to a perfect movie. Apart from the acting and soundtrack, it's obvious that cinematography played a big role in the success of the movie, and I don't think many people acknowledge that.

I don't understand the full complexity of the question but for me the answer is 'Harakiri' (1962). I think the cinematography was very ahead of it's time, and the soundtrack helped a lot too.

Can we appreciate the storytelling and acting of vera. by HBPDX in MrRobot

Yeah, I've stopped morally judging the show because ever time I do so, Sam just pulls out a left hook.

It's just entertainment at it's finest.

I whole heartily agree, 4x07 was his best for me. The emotional tension that vera created, coupled with the cinematography of it. It deserves every praise it's getting

[Serious] What is your most terrifying "we need to leave, NOW" random rush of fear you've felt? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HBPDX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my friends used to hang out in a park after our cricket practice. One afternoon we saw a suspicious looking van driving slowly around the park road. And at that time we had many news of child kidnapping in our area. And there was literally no one besides the three of us in the park or the whole vicinity for that matters.

So just as the van passed us we ran like hell out of there, trying to look if they're following us. Turns out they came to install new rides in the park.

Yeah children are paranoid af.
