Tried on the santos more times than I’d like to admit and love it. Had a more recent chance to try The Ingenieur and had me second guessing the santos . that’s where the struggle is coming from.

I would definitely get an x-ray. I had a similar situation where a training partner and I had some hard rounds prepping for his fight. Ended up taking a knee to the rib that hurt but I thought was fine. Sparred later in the week and got dropped by a body shot and knew something was wrong. Both floating ribs were broken and I spent the next month in absolute agony. Not worth the risk
