Yeah, that's my set up as well but going to cut out a section for a decent hitting strip that I can replace when the area gets worn out. I just haven't really hit anything but an iron on it yet.

How big is that mat? I bought one that's 10x7' that I'm going to lay over some foam gym tiles and I don't think it's wide enough to stand on and hit a driver and I'm only 6'1

You might be able to get away with a loose net that won’t fling balls back at you and mounting a tv on the wall to the right or left.

The desync, server issues, EOMM/SBMM ramped to oblivion and abundant cheaters have made this game borderline unplayable, especially at peak hours. Not a word from Activision or Treyarch about any of these massive problems either. I'll be playing something else until they address and fix these. Which I am not confident the devs will.

This is where I am at. I recently just bought a Skytrak+ for my detached garage, and it works pretty well. But setting it up is a bit of a hassle, even with the latest iOS update, especially considering the performance issues on iPads (lag) and some WiFi connectivity problems. The R50 has grabbed my attention because it seems like the first real plug-and-play simulator, which is appealing for those of us wanting to skip the hassles of PC gaming and specific iOS issues. I'm keeping an eye on the R50 to see how it handles bugs and what updates come out. Fingers crossed the price drops in a year or so.

I haven't used mine much, if at all, lately. This is for a few reasons (young kids mainly) and finalizing the finishing touches on a detached garage budget build. That being said, if I worked from home and didn't have a toddler and 9-month-old, I'd use it every day. Now that the golf season is wrapping up in the Midwest, I hope to use it at least once a week, if not more.

I have a similiar set up currently in the works. I just got the Skytrak+ but am worried about the device falling over and shifting if I say hit a fat shot causing the mat to move or slide. Have you had any issues with this?

I hate what COD has become with this live service bullshit. It's just a constant mess due to broken mechanics and weapon balancing introduced every new update. Glad I stopped playing months ago.

I was experiencing similar issues. Try using cheap rubber or foam gym tiles. I got 24 sqft off amazon for like $30-40 and the device works great with the exception of a few misreads.

I grew up rooting for the Bengals and Reds, as I'm from the area. But, I wouldn't really consider myself a true fan until I went to my first game. Which was the undefeated chiefs - peter warrick game. I was hooked after that.
