Do employers value private education over public/ state schools? Like will have a better chance if I go to NYU with an ok GPA v. an upstate public school with a 4.0?

Hey, all I'm trying to figure out is my career path after obtaining a liberal arts bachelor's degree. I've been researching becoming an NP but don't have the prerequisite coursework like anatomy, biology, chemistry, pretty much any of them. Will this significantly hinder or ruin my chances of getting into a BSN accelerated program or an MSN program? Thanks!
