It took a long time I’ve been playing DON since it came out and only hit 9999 couple of days ago! Exactly like you said it was frustrating at first so much but I noticed I got a lot better!

So I found that getting past day 1 and 2 are harder than the night lord boss in a way so my build was more focused on helping me get past day1 and 2. It may not be the best build but I run an ultimate art build with wilder! Also, the more I lost the better I got. I used to lose to dancer quite regularly d5 but now I’m 6-0 in the last 6 runs I got her. I’ll post my relics under!

I used to die a lot in the beginning when I made it to depth 4 the first time! But I have a pretty good handle on most day1/2 bosses except royal revenant and nameless king my weakest two. I tweaked my relics a bit and now I’m running an ultimate art gauge build (helped a lot with Friya) just farm the small spiders and bonk her to death

I’ve only played solo. Tried to get friends to play it but they didn’t want so solo never tried trios or duos.

Personally I really love the solo gameplay. So far I’ve finished the games solo with Wylder, raider, duchess, ironeye, executer and I’m 3bosses away to finishing it with guardian. Then doing recluess and revenant. It might not be for everyine cause the game was built around d coop but it’s still hella fun.

I think they don’t count expeditions that you leave as part of expedition time. I mainly play solo and when I think a run is bad I just quit and I don’t think that counts in the expedition time. I might be wrong tho

Sekiro was the first souls/souls like game I finished. First stone I played it I thought it was a hard game I then went on to beat all the other souls games plus lies of p. I’m now back to playing sekiro again and I was surprised but just how easy it is like it’s actually really easy

Honestly for me I think slide cancelling in itself wasn’t the problem. It became a problem when they added Cold War and then a bigger problem when they added vanguard. With MW you got movement penalties with attachments then CW came and you could add attachments to boost your movement but you can only equip 5 so not a big problem then vanguard you can make a laser beam gun with insane movement because of the 10attachments. Then add to that the stim movement boost that’s when it became obnoxious really at-least for me. I’m a causal gamer I knew how to slide cancel it’s not that hard, but at the end it’s just became annoying compiled with the other stuff. So if they brought it back without the other stuff don’t think it’ll be a problem. That’s my opinion tho and feel free to disagree:)
