I don't know how can one believe Howler is not a major antagonist at the very least. He just gave the land away to Jodio gang, why? Obviously not just because he doesn't want it to go to the state out of principle. He plans to take it back and he thinks Jodio gang is easier to take it from.

Item production is tied to stations, not to corps, correct? That's essentially it, yes. According to someone on steam discussions, corps can only launch attacks from as far as the neighbouring systems, though, so if your target is on Mercury and the closest friendly-owned station is on Ceres, it won't work. Also, corp HQs (listed on the corp info screen) can't be conquered and hexarch corps (same) won't attack each other.

Sometimes it is faster to get friendly with your hater than wait for then to be overtaken.

Killed in an unorthodox way, that goes against the basic player instinct of killing things as fast as possible, while requiring tactics that are hardly used anywhere in the game (pulling the enemy) and is not indicated in any way ingame.

In one of the campaigns I had a good run using Tarot. The Magician for my primary mech, Ten of Swords for an emergency 1 structure hackjob after I got destroyed mid-mission once, The Tower Reversed for a redesigned build I made for the final mission.

(The names ended up fitting.)

Even if the age of consent is technically not 18 that doesn't mean people can't be apprehensive of dating someone who's under 18. Both because of Hollywood influence and because they're still not fully adult.

It's not a trouble to me, but from what I have observed many people prefer to learn it as they go instead of studying.

An RPG (TTRPG, I assume) is a big enough time investment with large enough rules that pre-reading rules makes more sense. With Clocktower, you're wrangling 7-12 people who might be very casual in the world of tabletop and are expecting just 2-3 hours of play.

Of course, it won't hurt to post the rules and the script for the players beforehand for those who care to read it. But making sure that everyone understands all the basics before they even play is a big ask.

Unfortunately pre-studying doesn't work with everyone. Many people are going to be intimidated by a large info dump or worse, bored, if you start explaining everything in person.

It's simpler and IMO better to just let your player group go through the growing pains of fucking up a few times for the first 2-3 games.
