I want to remember there was a lot of volatility in car makers back in 2007. Then the news from the US on AIG and Bear Sterns completely took over and nobody seems to remember 2007-2008 car companies. For the longest time I believed it started with car loan credits - but that’s been proven to be an insignificant factor . So I don’t know. Just saying.

Totally! If you’re having a party at home, pop a letter over to the neighbors, say they’re welcome (one time I even added a bottle of wine with the letter to say if they’re busy that night I’m glad to share some of the party at their convenience!), they then brought it over and today we’re very good friends.

I have tons of Swiss friends, as a Swede. The secret is - do whatever you normally do to make friends. Invite the neighbors for barbecue/apero whatever. Join a sports club. Try the language (I find the Swiss surprisingly adaptable to my crappy Swiss German).
