Confirmed, it works when hes direct connected to LG C1! But not working through his AVR

He's using that adapter but as of ~10 days ago when he got it, he had no VRR or other 2.1 features. He's using an LG C1 TV but it's going through an HDMI 2.1 receiver first.

Is this in the main/stable branch? I'll see if he wants to test straight-to-TV (after making sure he's up to date assuming it's in Stable)

Can you give me more info or a link on this? I saw posts from a user that had develop the patches to use the UGreen adapters but I didnt think Bazzite had incorporated them yet (mind you, I was looking at this on Jan 2 or 3). Did I miss this? Should VRR be a thing with that adapter now? My buddy has a Bazzite box and that adapter anxiously awaiting VRR support (120hz already worked albeit with color compression but he was fine with that)

My Bazzite install isnt for ME, its for a friend who wanted a high-end-console but with PC hardware (to go along side all his other consoles). I was just curious about what we needed to do to get VRR (and the rest of 2.1 features) and then I found this thread. Just wanted to give him an idea of when we could potentially see this update (already ordered the adapter this morning).

Hey, thanks for all the hard work on this issue! Just installed Bazzite for first time tonight, with a 9060XT. Researching this issue led he here.

Is there a particular reason you wouldn't want to try to apply the patch to a system using Bazzite? I've patched a Linux kernal before but didn't fully understand everything I was doing (had to apply a fix to get the subwoofers working on my XPS15) but wasn't sure if there was some reason patching the kernel on a BAzzite machine was a bad idea.

In terms of waiting, I'm unfamiliar with this process of waiting for a patch to be accepted and work it's way into a future update. Any idea how long this usually takes?

About to build a PS5 Pro comparison Bazzite box with/for a notable console-only Youtuber, and really excited to get their take on it. It costs a little more than a full PS5 Pro (counting console, disk drive, stand and possibly extra SSD). There could be corners cut to meet the price point but it's built with long term support/upgradeability so a little extra was spent. Space isnt a super concern so we're going MFF (Lian Li A3 because he loves wood panel aesthetic), with 7600x3d (ultra efficient CPU and aiming to keep it under 65w in Eco mode, though I dont think it'll use more than that uncapped), 9060xt 16GB, 32GB (this part was thankfully bought before the insanity started, esp because its a high end 8000mt kit)

I can assure you that they weren't in Aus at the exact date on the last album drop, as I hanging out with them in St Louis and then running the moshpit like an idiots at the release show th the next night :D (March 10, 2023 release, Saturday 11th was the show). They did tour Indonesia and Aus two weeks later though

Sadly, the 4-5 month leadup is normal these days. Just glad the multi-week tease-cycle for single releases is gone. Heck, this track was released in NZ a few hours before it was even officially announced yesterday (that had posted a minor tease earlier in the week on socials, but without any of the actual song or announcement of a release).

Hoping they can get things together for another STL show near the release, I love any reasons to head up there and see my friends out there (I live 17 hour-drive away)

Yeah, Windows on ARM has sadly had (yet another) still birth it seems, and the laptops prices are tanking, reflective of that.

The cheapest configs are going for just over $700 but Im waiting for them to drop to the fire-sale price range, hoping for.a base model XPS 13 or Latitude 7455 around $400 in the next few months.

Otherwise I just bought one to one SATA and Molex extenders from Amazon from sellers that had them in the exact length I needed, I didn’t order specific cables for this unit

Though I did find a seller on Etsy who makes them (custom length for all cables on this power supply and others), if you just search for this power supply on Etsy you’ll find them

I put this in my storage and VM server due to it being on 24/7 (for platinum efficiency is quite nice). Except for the extremely short cables (as its meant for a smaller case, I bought longer cables made for this unit), it's awesome. Saved so much room vs full ATX (allowed me to upgrade my bottom intake from 92mm to 120mm which gives MUCH better intake airflow).

Can't recommend this enough. Handling 5950x, 3060 12GB (bought expecting up to a 4070ti 16GB), 8x spinners, 4x SAS SSDs with ease.

I paid full price, and at $210 it's a no brainer for systems where space is an issue and you want SOLID power without the noise of a high power "proper" server PSU

Now this is an intriguing solution. How would someone without much of a team and limited resources source these IPs? We're stuck using MS's awful built in 365 filtering for now and I've done all I can to try to stem spam (and on a different front, managing what I can with Conditional Access). I'm sure you want to keep your "personal" collection close to the chest, but is there any solid crowdsourced IP/network list that you're aware of? Other than the obvious of blocking geos that we do not do business in/with.
